Descrizione
Al fianco delle solite migliorie sotto il profilo tecnico, fatte di nuove animazioni, volti ancora più accurati e nuove licenze, tra le quali spicca sicuramente la Coppa Libertadores, ovvero la Champions League sudamericana, il capitolo 2011 verrà ricordato soprattutto per l'implementazione del nuovo sistema di passaggio, in grado di conferire al giocatore maggior potere decisionale sulle sorti dell'azione. In altre parole avrete modo di agire direttamente su potenza e direzione di ogni passaggio, non più suddivisi tra un semplice “appoggio” e uno in “profondità”. Questo vuol dire che sarà possibile, imprimendo più forza alla palla, tagliare tutto il campo con un filtrante, ma soprattutto stabilire dove farlo passare, provando quindi ad attaccare gli spazi. Il gameplay è stato forgiato su questa nuova caratteristica, spingendo il giocatore a dare la palla sul movimento e non sul corpo del calciatore, mediamente un po’ più statico ed “imballato” delle edizioni passate. In questi termini sembra che gli sviluppatori abbiano provato ad emulare il controllo full manual di FIFA 11, ma in realtà Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 mantiene tutta una serie di “binari” che convogliano l'azione in situazioni prestabilite. La sensazione è di non avere nei passaggi e nei movimenti il controllo a 360° del titolo EA, con i calciatori spesso ancora inchiodati nel punto in cui la palla arriva. Questo, unito agli scontri e alle animazioni precalcolate, responsabili dei trenini per colpire la palla di testa o dei pattinamenti prima di un tiro, creano la sensazione di trovarsi di fronte ad un prodotto tecnologicamente vecchio, soprattutto se confrontato con la raffinata fisica in tempo reale del concorrente. A mascherare la situazione arriva una casistica molto ampia di possibilità che va a “coprire” tutte le eventuali variabili presenti in una partita di calcio, come una sorta di palombella se si prova a tirare coi difensori incollati alla calcagna o due o tre tipologie di caduta diverse, ma le animazioni frammentarie e alcune reazioni poco realistiche svelano presto il meccanismo.

Guida all'installazione
1. Copiate il contenuto della cartella scaricata in 'Documenti/KONAMI/Pro Evolution Soccer 2011/save'
2. Copiate il file exe nella cartella principale "PES 2011" . (ci sono 2 exe, uno per la versione originale (1.0.0)e uno per l'update al 1.0.1 NON FUNZIONANTE)

3.Inserite i file bin dalle cartelle dt0c.img, dt02.img, dt04.img dt07.img and dt09.img ai rispettivi file img usando il tutorial nello spoiler in basso.
4.Avviate il gioco con pes2011.exe

Guida semplicissima sull'installazione della patch per chi non capisse l'altra by mumba1967
- Apri AFS Explorer
- Clicca "File -> Import AFS file..."
- Si aprirà una finestra, selezionare "All files (*.*)", andate nella cartella di installazione di PES e selezionate i file img necessari alla patch (in questo caso: dt0c dt02 dt04 dt07 dt09)
- Alla richiesta di rebuild, rispondere NO
- Quando avrà finito di caricare il file, cliccare su "Action -> Import folder..."
- Si aprirà una finestra, andate nella cartella della patch e selezionate la cartella corrispondente al file img precedentemente caricato (se avete caricato dt0c.img dovrete importare la cartella dt0c.img)
- Alla richiesta di rebuild, rispondere SI
- Si aprirà una finestra, salvate il file sul desktop con lo stesso nome del file img importato
- Vedrete i bin venire importati in una finestra a parte, attendete la fine e cliccate su "Ok"
- Infine vi chiederà se volete caricare il nuovo file, cliccate SI, aspettate il termine del processo e chiudete AFS
- Sostituite il file salvato sul desktop con quello originale nella cartella di installazione di PES (il consiglio è di salvare in una cartella a parte il file originale)
- Ripetete il processo con tutti gli altri file img previsti dalla patch (in questo caso: dt0c dt02 dt04 dt07 dt09)
